So i went into my dealer today to add the ESP
and check out the seats designs i wasnt sure about before. Unfortunately the salesman i dealt with last time was unavailable, so i spoke with another. He was absolutely fantastic and quickly got onto updating my order.
Ive ended up choosing the tan (fuax = fake???) leather which looks sweet with the white interior/exterior. (any opinions on this combination???)
Whilst doing this I thought i'd also see which other goodies i could get this new salemen to chuck in with the deal. A little talk and i got myself a free set of coloured key fobs and a coat hanger to go with my ivory mats and full tank of petrol. Ive got all this confirmed in writing so am a little happier with the deal.
And so i figure.. as fiat ARE NOT budging on their prices, a good way to get anything out of the deal may be to get your dealer to hand out some accessories. Im not sure how cheap/expensive these may be to the dealer but its always nice to get some free stuff that you may have paid for otherwise. I think the service in at my dealer (uxbridge road, london) was brilliant today and am looking forward even more till delivery :)

It's not like a Sales Exec to shaft another one by giving away stuff to the other one's customers.

(O.K, I'm lying, it happens all the time!)

I wonder how much money your original Sales Exec cost this other one today?

The leather options are genuine leather. It's only on the Sport trim and the Pop which include a mix of fabric and vinyl / 'faux' leather :)

And I think the tan and ivory will look very classy (y)

im not sure how u guys do the quotes from previous msgs.. but scrogg: what do you mean "I wonder how much money your original Sales Exec cost this other one today?

" the price of the car changed from the original price by an increase of £800 - (esp200, leather600) - as i say, the other little bits were free. that helped make the service 'brilliant' but the salesmen was very helpful. ive been reading stories of bad service on this forum so was a good change i experienced.

thanks sausexed, atleast someone agrees, ive been showing my friends the brown seat/ivory interior combo and no one has yet seemed to get it (was getting kinda worried) but i think it looks classy for sure!

Sorry, it made perfect sense when I typed it!

Sales Execs are paid commission based on the profit retained in a car. The less profit, the less commission they earn.

The S.E you spoke to yesterday has agreed to give away free stuff on a car sold by your original S.E, which will be paid for out of the profit on the car, which will in turn mean your original SE will earn less commission.

I was just wondering if your original S.E had done the same thing to the second one yesterday without telling him?
