Hi everyone just joined this forum and looking forward to owning a 500. I have owned 5 of the new shape MINI since 2001 including a cooper s soft top, I have loved mini since age of 5 and now have fallen in love with 500. I have collected all brochures and literature on 500 and put away like I did with MINI, and I have ordered a 500 1.2 sport in bosanova white, with bar code decals and stickers and 16" wheels. I have visited around 10 fiat dealerships in the uk, before making my purchase.

Good luck with your new car, which dealership did you purchase from?

hi had addiction to be getting a new mini all the time, which i got myself into a little debt due to negative equity. i have learnt my lesson now lol

I feel your pain.. Fiat are likely to be bringing out the bi-turbo diesel Bravo soon and I know I'll be wanting to upgrade when it's launched :(

So you're getting the 1.2 sport? Thought the sport was a 1.4?

Has this actually been confirmed? I know they want to put it in Alfas but the Stilo didn't get the 16v Mjet until just before it was canned.

I won't be keeping my hopes up for a twin turbo mjet in a Bravo...

Clubman looks awful AND they didn't change the kiddies door around for the RHD market so when your kids get out they do so into the traffic flow!!!!

BTW they didn't change the bonnet release lever round on the 500 for the RHD market either....doesn't bother me but is noticeable!

Yep. Terrible design flaw.

Sister says her GP is the same. Has the huge benefit of only having to open the pavement-side door to open it. Hate having to open the driver's side for this as I live on a very busy and narrow road.

Cheers,
Tony.

Why did you go to Basingstoke? Were they the only dealer who could assure you of an early delivery?

What does everyone at home think of it. Must ve a rare sight at the moment. (y)
