well went to the launch at piccadilly in wakefield last night quite a few people there.

Ordered myself a 1.2 sport in jive blue
16" alloys
fixed glass roof
climate control
leather gear stick
split rear seats
white stripe
electromatic mirror
side rubbing strips with 500 logo
chrome kit
chrome wing mirrors

what a bargin only £10570 :slayer:

just gotta wait now till end of march as its on week 7 build

So whats everyone else ordered :cool:

Lucky you ordered last night as Week 7 changed to 'fixed' status this morning meaning you couldn't add all your extras and would most likely of had a later build date.

I was going to add fogs and 16" wheels this afternoon... but we found we couldn't due to the updated status! Oh well! :D

Mines due in the UK on the 10th March with delivery to the dealership and myself, hopefully, about a week later :)

well hope it went through in time then as the dealer last night said he would call it through today, they had loads of week 7 on order and said it wouldnt be a problemm hope thats the case :confused:

Yeah, status usually moves from Heavy Variablity to Light Variability to Fixed, but mine went straight from Heavy Variability to Fixed. We thought it was going to be 'Fixed' later this week so would still have time to add the extras today, but unfortunately not. At least it's got it's confirmed build date and saved me a bit of money ;) :)

Ordering mine on Tuesday 29th as only time I can get in.

1.3 Lounge (Deisel)

HOPEFULLY interscope sound system and Blue&ME NAV but dealer knows nothing about these options!

Did everyone put the same deposit down?
Dealer told me that I could oreder fully auto box as an option AND that the sport button on the 1.4 I tested was actually for toggling the steering lighter and heavier....but I though that was denoted by the steering wheel button on the Lounge....very confusing!

I put down £650 - approx 10% of the order.

You can indeed get a automatic gearbox, but not on the 1.3 It's only available on the 1.2 and 1.4.

There are 2 buttons... it just depends what engine you go for. If it's a 1.4 the 'Sport' button tightens engine responce and decreases the assistance to the powered steering making it feel heavier. The 1.2 and 1.3 models come with the 'CITY' button which lightes steering for speeds below 20mph (or around about that).

i wanted the nav thing on mine 2 dealer was looking into it for me and letting me know tomorrow, just hope am not gonna have to wait longer than the end of march :confused: but maybe now cant have it if mine was on week 7 and its fixed

It was heavy variability when I came to see you last Thursday/Friday (can't remember which day it was!) ...when did it change to light variability then?? ...and surely it stays at light variability for more than 3 days :confused:

Can anyone give me any idea on what status my 500 will be at? I have done the obvious and asked the dealer, but they have yet to let me know :rolleyes:

It was ordered mid-last week.

Every dealership has it's own policy on deposits so it's doubtful.

Dualogic is not a full automatic, it's a clutchless manual.

Dualogic is available to order now on 1.2 (for March build onwards) and should be available to order on 1.4 from February (for April build onwards) it's not available on 1.3.

You'll be waiting a lot longer than March for Blue & Me Nav, it's most likely not coming to the UK at all.

Your dealer should already know that.
 
thats well pants that i would have to wait that long, and even worse that it may not come over here, oh well looks like a tomtom for me then :confused:
