General It's launch day 21 Jan.Anyone collecting their 500 this week?

Its party time and launch day now then (Monday 21 January).

All Fiat dealers have their demonstrating cars (they are not allowed to sell those)

Some dealers have their first 2 cars in stock which they can sell or have sold already so some lucky peeps will be collecting their 500 on 21 jan, or later this week.

1. Anyone on here collecting their 500 today, tomorrow, later THIS WEEK?

2. Has any dealer still got either of his 2 'stock' vehicles for sale?
If so, what version is it, where is it, how much above list price is it?
I'll see if I can talk the boss to get me that company car he promised me when I started work.

I know the Edinburgh AC has one sold, a lounge petrol....don't know the engine spec... with Italy stripes, climate control, and I'm not sure what else. And one under a car cover ready for the 21st.

Not me! Was supposed to be here for tomorrow (can't say I ever believed that to be honest, so I'm not upset or surprised that it's not here!) as I'm getting one of the first 2 cars for my dealer but now looks like being towards the end of first week of Feb.

Well, youd never know there was a launch here... although Im on the mailing list and Fiat keep sending me stuff about the 500 I know nothing about any launch at local dealers. Nothing on their websites either, pretty pants really. So, I shant be driving about hoping to get in

Seriously, I have bought 3 brand new Fiats from that dealer, have asked Fiat to keep me informed from the start and I dont get invited to the launch, that is crap sales technique
If you bother reading all the threads I have said loads of positive things about the 500, I am wanting one you know

Luccanino (over on nf500.com) is saying he collected his new 1.4
500 last night from Stoneacre Wrexham.

picked mine up from stonearce wrexham just after 8pm and drove all the way back to bury in lancashire.lots of people looking at me on motorway felt like i was in a ferrari.it feels very solid and chunky and it was like driving a much bigger car not like fiat of old .reminds me of my mums old lancia y10 fila i past my test in many years ago.by the way anybody can buy the dealer stock just like i did and if the dealer are being funny about it they are just getting ideas above there station thinking tere selling minis at bmw...anyway bored of it now so if youve got 12k you can have mine with 1.4 lounge white ,white steering wheel,italia stripes on side,electric glass roof and climate...

I didnt think any Stoneacre had received there first customers cars yet.
He'd sell it already too. 1.4 Lounge: A bit pricey for me and 1.4s are a bit thirsty.

I've made some enquiries and it seems that someone did indeed collect their car from the dealership mentioned.

I don't mind speculators or capitalists if they are selling something I want and can't get (supply and demand and all that) but this one seems to be a fairly ordinary 1.4 white 500 car.

:worship:Luccanino still got the dealer to release one of their showroom cars to him on launch day,which means he's ahead of most people including those who were 'lucky' enough to get 'accepted' with the 500 Wants You promotion in order to get their cars early.

The whole 500 wants you promo, run by Fiat seemed to be a bit of a farce on the continent, and from what I can see, it's no better organised in the UK.
