of corse mini clubs wont welcome the new mini as its not made by the same company its just a small bmw

well said Dave, thats exactly why the new mini isnt welcomed by the majority of real mini clubs.
as far as I know all the various fiat clubs and forums will of course welcome the new 500, however as it shares absolutely nowt with the real 500 then of course owners of the real ones may on occasions snub the new one.
what I personally dislike is the way totally new to fiat people are saying how fabulous the new 500 is and how pants all other fiats are, its being said an awful lot and I feel in time the owners of these new 500s may well shun other fiat owners and enthusiasts, kind of snobbery if you like. of course us older fiat fans will know youve really just shelled out for an expensive panda
this is easily the friendliest fiat site their is, at the moment this section isnt moderated and some things do go unchecked, also dont forget, non of you actually know one another apart from on here, once youve met, hopefully at FF meets then youll all get along fine... and youll find us pretty normal and friendly too. if youre new, just join in, we all were new once

I was going to post that 500 for fiat fans is the biggest thing that has gone on with fiat for ages and many fiat lovers, the diehards and the more recent are looking forward to this car.
I personally dont think you beat the orginal but its nice to see they have revived a pure classic
As for this forum not having much of a community, if you dont join the community then of course you'll think that.
There is a great sense of community on here and the lengths that people go to to help eachother out is second to none. Plus all the meets that happen through out the year....
