Its getting very frustrating. Im not having a go at anybody on here. All im saying is that from start to now and from what ive been shown by my dealer, indicated my car will be here by jan 21st. My lounge i now know isnt coming for jan 21st but around 6 weeks times (approx build time?).

Im not saying that people on here are lying. there are so many conflicting statements, i dont who to believe. However i have gotta go with what me dealer has told me as there the people i have been dealing with.

After complaining about my lounge not being ordered, we rang Fiat direct. They are now getting to the bottom of it and they have stated i should be getting my sport for Jan 21st. Thats now the Fiat dealer and the Fiat rep saying i am due a car on jan 21st.

who am i to believe now? im lost and annoyed.

this is the thing. I was told mine were both in build around about 3 weeks ago for both cars. As they had been put on the Fiat computers or something. I couldnt change my orders on the cars (supposedly) as they were in build. I wanted to change from sport to lounge due to the interior i wanted not available on the sport. I was told i couldnt due to my cars been allocated for build. How true i dont know?

I was then told monday, my lounge hadnt even been ordered, so could of never been in build! A little lie from the dealer, who are blaming fiat as it was ordered as part of the 500' wants you programme. He remains adamant by sport is nearing end of build for jan delivery.

@ Scrogg:
could it be that some dealers might get their 2 'stock cars' by 21 jan and that scrogg's dealer is selling one of those to Shiggy?
The 2 stock vehicles per dealer are Build Week 3 (next week) so there is a slim chance they will arrive in January.

My Fiat Zone Manager has told me not to promise January delivery to anyone, so that's what I'm doing.

And no, shiggy isn't buying his cars from my dealership.

My boss was asking me when my 500 is due in. So I just
called the dealer up to get a rough idea. Car was ordered late
november and is due to go into build next week :D (week 3)

I was hoping for a perv at these 500s driven by gorgeous salesmen, but of course U all cant stand the pace and have to spend sat and sun in bed after a hard Mon to fri week.:rolleyes:Lightweights.

Also I saw something secret! That I was promised not to tell about! :D

Best part tho, it's not been a very good secret and most new 500 followers will have already seen the pics. Still can't tell tho.

You saw a '500 secret' at H of E conference centre?
I wonder what that could be?

:eek:Maybe you saw an Abarth 500 in its near-finished form, which looks nothing like this pic:

gorgeous fiat salesmen
Or maybe you saw that Sandicliffe Fiat salesmen seem to be more ugly that most, and seem to tell their customers more **** than most....that's the worst-kept secret in the Midlands. :p

Hmmmmm, I wonder what this secret could be.

There's going to be a unique finance/warranty deal for he 500, but that's not a secret.:(

:cool:As well as the 3 trims levels we are getting at the moment in the UK (Pop Sport and Lounge) there is a Base model 500 (cheaper and less equipped than the Pop) which Fiat could introduce tothe UK when sales start to flag or when Ford bring out their (cheaper) version of the 500 in the UK (to be badged as the new ford KA). Maybe you've seen one of those?:yum:

I'm sure if I had a wash and a shave I could blag my way in to the H or E centre for the boring Fiat presentation bits, but when they start doing test drives (which is the bit I'm interested in) it could be a bit more difficult.

I know someone who works at the nearby Corley Services and (allegedly)the odd pair of Fiat delegates have been booking aTravelodge room there just for a few hours in the afternoon, using the bed but not staying overnight, nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more.

:D :D :D
If Fiat Public Relations would like to PM me an invite to this fiat event later in the week (including test drives) I won't mention the realnames of those involved.:D:D
