I originally put my name down with my dealer back in september and paid my deposit. spec'd the car in october for my 1.4 sport which has been ordered from start to finish with the dealer.
my 1.2 lounge which was ordered through fiat as part of that '500 wants you program was spec'd the same time as my dealer ordered car.
It gets better, my dealer called this morning. 'Fiat' forgot to order your 1.2 lounge, they have exspeeded? your order by with you in 6 weeks. -- FORGOT AN ORDER????
The sport is still expected for lauch on jan 21st.

I asked my supa dupa dowsing rods and they told me where to go.
Afew miles NW from corley serv. OK I asked kevinb and a few others as well.
They didnt tell me thered be nothin to see at the weekend though and thats the only time I can get down there I was hoping for a perv at these 500s driven by gorgeous salesmen,but of course U all cant stand the pace and have to spend sat and sun in bed after a hard Mon to fri week.Lightweights.

Yes im based in the UK, yes both of my cars have been ordered through a UK dealer and im based within the Northern part of the UK.

Ask reliable knowledgeable dealer employees (like SCROGG a Fiat car sales manager at a main dealership for example)and if you ask nicely they may give you the up to date official info they have from Fiat UKwhich suggests that most (almost all?)customers will not be getting their cars for 21 Jan

I am sure that my guys say things to customers that they shouldn't to try and get their business, and much as I am trying to I doubt I will ever stop that, but unfortunately it is inevitable in a commission-based environment where we are faced with ever-increasing competition and ever-increasing pressure to sell more cars.

Do you honestly think any of the Fiat dealer employees that post on here are going to post anything they don't know to be true?
You're right, I don't know anything about your order, or the massive (yes, I am being sarcastic, but that's what bragging about how much money you've got deserves) £22,000 you are spending, but what I do know is when the first 500s are being built and when they can be expected at dealerships...
...but obviously you're not interested in getting any help or advice from anyone, as all you seem to do is flame them when they do.
So my question is, why bother asking questions in the first place?
