Not that I'm going to buy one, (well I don't think so), but I am impressed by the price of the car, especially when you compare it to the BMW Mini. Personally, it just goes to show what money grabbers they are at BMW, just look at the options list and their prices. Here's hoping the 500 gives them a bloody nose, the Mini was always meant to be a cheap car, VW have done the same with the new Beetle - except that it's rubbish!

what case?

You've obviously not sat in the back of a Mini. And by the way that case you have rested, it won't fit.

Why bother giving a car an ugly saloon shape if its just a two seater? My go kart handles well by the way.

I dont buy a car to sit in the back thank you very much, who find it tight, buy a car

BMW is a car, 500 is yet another great looking toy by Fiat

But I don't buy a car with seats in the back if I can't use them. Might as well be a 2 seater.

I've not been in a Mini but it woul have to be pretty damn impressive to beat the comfort of the 500. Tonnes of space for all 4 passengers in the 500.

back of new mini is not roomy at all :D

it is rather cosy, only thing that stopped me looking at one when i was looking to buy last may was the lack of a fifth seat ;)

good job that, isnt it

As always it's very much about individual priorities. Some will place an emphasis on perceived quality and solid reliability where others prefer individuality, design flair and a more practical day to day package.

Might, but isnt, there are 'some' seats at least so you can put your bag OR jacket :D

I'm still talking about BMW vs Fiat in general

If the 500 is considered a toy then the mini is equally so.

Lets face facts the only reason someone would buy a Mini is because its a Mini, they are paying extra for the name. Same might be said for the 500 but less so I would think but the 500 is not European Car of the Year for nothing is it?

The Mini is a rip-off and you pay about 4-6k less for the 500, a no-brainer for most I would imagine?

I saw an original Mini a while back and had a large sticker in the back window which read ''100% BMW-Free'', loved it !!!(y)
