absolutely - the current range, including the 1.4 so-called sport are a waste of time in terms of performance, looks and cost..you may as well save a packet and go for the panda 100hp.

however, the abarth i agree will be a different kettle of fish - its the only 500 to consider and id go further and say that realistically it'll only be the abarth ss that pushes the right buttons.

standard abarth... 120-130ish bhp for £13k ish?...nearer 14 with options? - sod that when you can something like a swift sport for 11 fully specced with as much power.

and also, buy the standard abarth and you're always going to get that horrible sinking feeling when you look at the ss version for another couple of grand - you'll have a half-hearted abarth and looked at like that you may as well not bother getting one at all.

so save up for the abarth essesse or dont bother with the 500 at all and go for the panda 100hp or swift sport - simple really isnt it!!!!
