I havent been told I cant get the kit yet but will have to wait and see. I have changed my order to get it from someone else now but when I enquired about the kit a month ago I was given the following prices:

1) Side skirts £300.00
2) Front Dam £180.00
3) Rear Dam £180.00
4) Rear Spoiler £200.00 = £860

I think I heard somewhere recently the prices havent been totally finalised but I have budgeted for this, so dont mind waiting a while but would be nice to get same time as car since I will have to travel from Hertford to Gloucester to pick up the car

Bristol's a bit out my way, so you should be the only Jive Blue there maybe . I am near London, so we wont be bumping into each other at all.

I am told my car is week 7 build with delivery around the 14th or so of March, approx, so not too much longer to wait

Have you still gone for the 16" multispoke wheels? I thought they would delay the car... Mines in for week 7 build too, a 1.2 Lounge, from the same place as you

I havent been told about any delays on alloys, so have no idea. I did originally order the 421 16'' alloys but heard there were delays on those so chose muli-spoke, so if there are delays on those too then us buyers cant win can we, whats the point?

Someone mentioned a delay on bodykits, also there is no date as to when we can get the Interscope sound system with sub-woofer, who knows really. It is a bit annoying because of the all the hype surrounding the car you would think FIAT would be better prepared.

I am trying to be positive and I know my new dealer will keep me updated, he has been awesome so far and he knows I am quite demanding as a customer , why not, we are all going to be spending a good wad of cash, so then you can be as demanding as you want. My last dealer I thought was pretty cool then I found out he was BS'ing me on some things, so I have given him the heave-ho, changed dealers and now am getting my car 2 months earlier

I know our mutual dealer seems to know his stuff, so I am sure he will keep me updated. I cant wait to get my Lounge, feel like a kid at Xmas.

I'm suprised he didn't mention about the 16" multipsokes being delayed. I've gone for the 15" multispokes that come stanard on the lounge. The only 16" multispokes that seem to be available are on the demonstrators. Otherwise it's a wait until around April before we see them on customers cars... I may be wrong, the situation could have changed since ordering mine the other week, but it would be worth finding out

Erm, it's only (!) 143 miles. It shouldn't cost too much fuel in your 1.3 Mjet.

I'm 177 miles away and intend going. (In my 1.3 Mjet 500).

Hi Tony, thats a fair point. I forgot I will be averaging about 65mpg and not 28mpg anymore when I get my 500

Aye, with current fuel prices I wouldn't be going in my Cooper S.

Are you currently driving the same? That MPG figure looks about right.
