General Right hand drive 500s. Who's got one and where

The first RHD Fiat 500s arrived in the UK a few days ago,were spotted at Portbury last weekend and have been seen on and near the M4 this week on transporter lorries by a fluffy 500 fan MarkElvin and my uncle Tom from Weston.(They cant both have been imagining things.)

Where they are going we do not know.

If you know where there's a RHD 500 lurking/arriving/hiding let us know on here, on fiatforum, nowhere else. Maybe order Fiat HQ are getting them at the moment, ****** says they might be heading for a press-launch or maybe they are going to a Fiat dealer near you.

If its top secret information send me a PM otherwise bung it on this thread.

my guess, if seen on the M4 is Fiat HQ in Slough, could be worth a peep if youre ever in the area

According to Stoneacre they haven't made any RHD ones yet -

They have been made and some of the RHD ones are in the UK,
...we just don't know where they are taking them at the mo.

Simonstone also say there have been no RHD 500's made yet & the ones in Portbury were LHD ones that may have been converted!!!!!:nutter:

If the factory had made no RHD cars yet we would certainly not see any this side of the new year as it takes about 3-4 weeks from manufacture before they appear in the dealers. Which blows the dealers "we are getting some cars before christmas" out of the water.

Somebody somewhere is feeding us bull.

I've ordered mine through Simonstone.

Cant say i was happy with their knowledge on the situation! Luckily, they didnt give any idea on delivery so i havent got my hopes up yet

You could start by "when do you expect your dealer 500 demo cars to be in"

Then when do you expect the first customer cars in & has the release date been moved?

I know of another person who has ordered a 500, he has been told his order is "status 13" whatever the hell that means.

Salesman pwig knows the status codes and their meanings.
A dealer up near me, (nowt to do with pwig) now says his customers cars are not coming til end feb for 1 March delivery.

Putting positive spin on it he says his customer will be *happy*they can then have 08 reg plates so their cars may be worth a tad more when they sell them a few years down the line. I dont think some will be happy at all if they thought they were getting them in Jan.

What a confusing chock up. He was gobsmacked when I said some rhd ones were already in the UK.He had been told the delay was because no RHD ones have been made yet.

We know better, the fluffy 500s have been fluffy-spotted near Bristol already:destination unknown, unless any of you out there in FFland know the answer.

Had a call to say my car is being ordered today. I've been dealing with a bristol dealer. He said the dealer cars, RHD, are in Portbury docks and have been for a week or so. He is expecting a RHD 1.4 sport in the showroom in about 10 days time.

He mentioned going over for a drive as well
