Hi everyone-

My daughter drives a 2017 Fiat 500 and called me today and said she's had this issue happen a couple times - the ice sensor light comes on, the temp reads -11C (it is usually displayed in F) and that the AC stops circulating cold air. The problem is it is 95 degrees outside.

Any ideas from the Fiat experts? Maybe a faulty temperature sensor? Something else going on?

Thanks!

I had this recently. It was over 30 degrees and the car was telling me it was minus 10 and possible ice on the road. Definitely dodgy sensor in the passenger mirror.

Replacement £30 on eBay for a secondhand one. You may even get one in colour for that. If not just swap over the coloured cover. 5 minute job to change.

Hi :)

Yes the temp sensor is a small dimple at the bottom of mirror housing :)

Which mirror.. your FIAT driver can figure out ;)
