Put some ideas for a recall fiat could make here. I know FCA should make a recall for all 2012 to 2019 500s shutting off whilst driving. This is a very common problem.

While we don't get many USA users on here and say I've ever heard of the issue
Unless you mean the engine turning off when you come to a stop light then that's normal it's start stop
Perhaps some more info will help?

If the car was in the Euro : UK Market that would trigger a recall..
But we have a different build of 500
So what causes this 'shutdown' of the motor ?

It hasn’t happened to my moms car but the computers in the American cars are known to fail. My moms car did shudder and go into limp mode once, a restart fixed it.
Which computer..?
Its not something we see with the European built 500.. so it would be interesting information
