I need new front struts for my Fiat 2015 pop hatchback. The parts from the dealership are really expensive and i've been looking at the KYB struts.

Part # 339855 and 339854

They have a worldwide indefinite back order and the struts I am seeing from other companies are just as expensive and mostly for racing.

When I looked at the UK ebay it looks like they have TONS of Fiat parts and appear to be affordable but I cannot figure out which is the UK/European Model of my Fiat and the equiv part that I need. I've already ordered the springs, covers and struts mounts but all I need is just the strut front right and left pieces.

Any help? Thanks!!

Might sound a bit different try phoning Monroe or Sachs here in the uk it's cheap to call?

http://www.monroe.com/en-emea not sure if it will accept US vin numbers?

Try inputting your data here; https://webcat.zf.com/?SPR=4

remembering the country, when I tried it came up with a standard spec item on Ebay @ £50, so looks that it "maybe" the same as the 1.4 here?

Came up with Sachs part numbers of 314 839 and 314 840

note the above does not fit the 102HP 75 Kw engine version but does fit the 100Hp version

like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sachs-Fr...5&_sacat=0&_nkw=sachs+314+839&_from=R40&rt=nc

I am located in the US. I did get an email from Richard at SHOP4PARTS. He recommended these parts on the site (I'm new on this site so I cannot post links yet).

They are made by TopShop and are £44.36 ea including vat plus £74.95 for shipping. So total would be £216.29.

Otherwise, I can get Fiat brand shocks (which I think are made by Mopar) and they are $103 each plus about $20 tax.

You have to find out whether the dampers are the same as those for EU vehicles.

According to a fiat parts website, these appear to be the part numbers.

To my way of thinking, this is just plain unacceptable. Not being able to supply a commonly needed wear and tear part for the base model of a current production car shows a complete disregard for the customer.

Sadly I don't think that will help us. They're not even in the same format as a european Fiat part number.

If there is an eight digit number that you can physically see on one of the struts that are on your car, that might be useful. You might have to remove the strut from the car and strip it down to find it.

Replacement parts for speciality cars in local markets can be both expensive and hard to obtain. I can understand what you're trying to do here, but proceed with extreme caution. The chance of spending quite a lot of money and ending up with the wrong parts is considerable and you won't easily be able to return them if they don't fit. The worst case is probably getting parts which physically fit but are technically incorrect, (for example if the damper rates are not the same), as you could end up with a dangerous car without even knowing it.

Out of interest, how many miles has your car covered?

S4P 13642/13644 are the TopLine struts. Interestingly the Shop4parts website shows these struts as fitting ALL european 500 models (TA, 1.2, 1.4 & mJet), yet also shows the OEM parts for the 1.4 as being different and only fitting the 1.4.
