General Headlight will not turn off

Yesterday my headlights didn't turn off for over an hour and today I had to actually unhook the battery to turn them off. I'm sure others have had this problem, please tell me what to try.

Suggest you start with the switch-dismantle it nd see if earth wire has come adrift-not unheard of!

Fuse/relay box earth ? Sticking relay?

Unfortunately it was the control module on my 2012 500c lounge at 79,000 miles. About $750.
