I was. Having issue with fob not opening hatchback then stopped altogether. Replaced fob but hatchback still not opening. No key lock entry so can't open back at all. Is there a sensor somewhere? I checked fuses and they are all ok. How can I open?

Is the button under the rear handle not working either? If not perhaps it's the dreaded hatch wiring issue. You should be able to open it manually but it will incur climbing into the back to release the catch - details should be in your manual.

I have a similar issue but its the handle button that works only sometimes, fob at mo is fine but too suspect the wires to the hatch will need to check before it gets far worse.

I had that problem early on John. Turned out to be the micro switch in the handle either failed or came adrift. FIAT's fix was to replace the whole handle so lucky it was under warranty. Otherwise you could take the handle off and check the switch is working OK but you'd have to cut through the sealing foam on the back.
