I'm having difficulty moving the new pads far enough apart to fit over the new rotor on the rear brakes. I believe the problem is with what I believe is a parking brake adjustment, but I'm not seeing how to adjust it for sufficient clearance. I have a clutch adjusting tool for an old SAAB which will turn the Maltese Cross looking parkinging brake adjustment (which is also the caliper piston, I believe) and I just can't get the opening big enough. Lacks about 1/8 inch clearance. These calipers say TRW. I should note that I have completely removed one of the calipers from the car and used a large "C" clamp on the caliper to attempt to squeeze the piston back into the caliper. It won't move, apparently it is already as far back in the caliper as it will go.
