Is there anybody out there who is willing to give up there car to this shop that wants to prototype a turbo kit for there Fiat 500? My budy is the owner of the shop and is looking for a Fiat 500 to build a custom turbo kit. They have built the only turbo kit for the Smart car and now there are looking to build a kit for the fiat. If anybody is interested they will build the kit at a very minimal cost to the owner and have the honor of saying they were the first SFR built turbo Fiat 500. Call my friend Tim or Karl At Speed force at 619-328-4012 and see what they can do.

Nobody wants to buy a aftermarket turbo for there Fiat?

Have a poke around the X web forums: http://xwebforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=4

They're predominantly American-based Fiat fanatics and a few of them have now bought 500's. You'll probably have more luck there. This board is mostly UK based and we have the Abarth available here so probably not a lot of interest.

On that point, I have all the turbo goodies from an Abarth 1.4 turbo engine sitting in the garage, if you're curious about how the factory has done/specced things, ping me a PM.

I'm thinking more along the lines of a supercharger though. It can only be a matter of time before you get the Abarth. The supercharger option might appeal to a different market.

cheers
Jason

The abarth is being announced at the LA motor show on the 13th of this month.

Shouldnt they just make the Essesse the standard abarth?
I think 135 hp over 100 doesnt make that much of a difference but 160 sounds enough.

Who knows, maybe they do that in higher standards with cars america?

It will be 160bhp and they will have a asseto corse 190 bhp version.
But we will have to wait until the 13th to find out for sure.
