I just helped out a guy with a complete set of parts to replace his brakes so have dug out all I had. Still a few bits left including brake cylinders, brake shoes, rear hoses, handbrake linkages and a pair of scarcer 500R rear cylinders. Also got brake drums. Thought I would mention it before they get put away again.

Hi Toshi 975! I recently purchased a 1971 Fiat 500L and have to replace the brake cylinders and hoses. I live in Boston, MA, USA and am trying to find a local vendor in the northeast or USA. Can you share any references on where to purchase these parts?

The main classic Fiat supplier in the USA is "Mr Fiat" in Alabama. C,Obert & co in Santa Cruz (www.fiatplus.com) might also be able to help be able to help.
However, if you have a fair sized order, you might find that ordering from Europe is cost effective (Mr Fiat isn't cheap). If you contact me direct ([email protected]) I will give you a list of the main European suppliers.

I am not really up on US suppliers other than what Tom has said. I am sure that some of the 500 owners in the US will advise you. I still have a set of brake shoes and wheel cylinders for a 500 but I think that the postage would be more expensive than the items.
