We have had a 1959 Fiat Jolly in our family for almost 50 years. It is an American model but was never registered in the United States. We drove around our farm and didn't register it till 2013. Is there some way to find out to whom it was original sold?

unfortunately there are no Factory records for anything Fiat ...
Nor did they maintain any details of ownership or specifications etc

If you PM me have one of the largest databases of pre 1960 Fat 500s (including Jolly's) I can provide an estimate as to the month etc it was made....
I can ask my friends in Italy f anyone they know has ever encountered the car before...

There is information need that I ask for via pm/email rather than post on a forum....

It is believed that European Jolly,s were made to order and a car simply taken off the production line and converted as and when needed, but looking at US Jolly,s they seem to have numbers that are close together thus there is a theory that perhaps Jolly's for the US were converted in batches and shipped to dealers...

I am trying to authenticate a Fiat Jolly found in Italy by a friend. I have attached some screen shots of Hi Res photos of the car and some numbers found on the car. There was a frame off restoration done so it's obviously in great shape. Is there a way to confirm it's an actual Jolly. I live in Avalon, Catalina Island where quite a few were located originally. They always say in Jolly History "and 30 were shipped to Catalina Island and used as Taxi's" They were actually Avis rental cars !

Thank you for any help

Having owned an original Ghia built Jolly for 30 years and being very familiar with these cars, I feel confident in opining that the car in your photos is a Jolly replica.

need help researching vin# 10075297. Trying to research original color. Any help in this matter appreciated...

Are there any paint remnants of the original color on the car?
The engine number looks very like "126"---is that so? To be able to be driven in America, would not the 'original'Jolly's have had the protuding headlamps? However, I see that there many body details that would indicate that an early 500 was used as the base for this vehicle.

well from the chassis number and tank it looks like it is based on a 500D...
Many people try to make "tribute" cars look as close to originals as possible...
Hence the early 500N rear lights and front panel and wings..
Nice "tribute" but a few mistakes that seperate it from being a genuine Ghia Jolly
In addition D's were produced from 1960-1965 so to have a 1959 registration is a bit of a fudge..
