Just watched a new film that has been recently released called as ‘The Man in the Hat’.

If you like a bit of Classic 500 well it’s in virtually every scene! It’s a very charming funny film with virtually no dialogue in it but lots of good music and scenery.

It’s about a man in a Fiat 500 who gets pursued across France by five angry men in a Citroen Dyane.

Sadly on my behalf a noticed a Proietti sticker in the rear screen of the car and it seems the 500 is a British registered car.

The only place I know that you can stream from at the moment is Apple Movies. Oh cancel that it is also on Amazon Prime for 99p rental!!!!! But here is a little taster.

Eventually got round to watching this. A very gentle film, nice music, beautiful scenery and amusing although I had no idea what was going on but perhaps that's the point!

Seemed very prescient with border controls to leave France/get into Britain (well, I think that was what was happening!).

My knowledge of 500s is less than many here so I may be missing something but I was alarmed at the huge amount of steam pouring from the engine bay at one breakdown!

But a lovely change from murder, violent action, CGI etc.
