Hi there! So after putting my engine back in, never having any charging problems previously, I foolishly started it once with the dynamo wires disconnected. I immediately noticed the dynamo light on, which it only came on when keyed and not started previously. I shut down the car and realized I didn't connect those two wires.

I connected them and fired it up. Dynamo light still on. It appears as if I'm only getting 1V off the dynamo? Please tell me there is an easy fix for whatever is happening that was never an issue before? I've never messed with the voltage regulator, but maybe running it once with no power going in screwed it up?

Thanks!

Maybe the contacts in the Voltage Control "cut off" have stuck together (it's the righthand coil).

I’ll check it out when I get home. I haven’t even touched the regulator yet! Who knows what I’m gonna find!
