Hi All. To be honest i should have paid more attention when it came in but hey, so I rebuilt an engine for a friend ,just new gaskets etc etc. New clutch and 2nd hand gearbox, adjusted tappets. Now when its running there is a noise coming from the back of the engine above the bellhousing area like a noisy tappet.Ive taken out the plugs and span it over and nothing can be heard like the fan knocking. Any ideas where to look without stripping engine. P.s the engine runs fine apart from the noise.maybe it was there before.
