Perusing the Feb 2020 issue of Practical Classics car magazine (also available digitally www.greatmagazines.co.uk/practicalclassics),
I notice there's an article (page 124) on how to recreate a Brass Mesh type filter to replace that which is often fitted on the fuel pick-up pipe (sender unit pipe) inside older Fiat fuel tanks.

You need to add that even digitally you have to pay or I can see some of the "coffin dodgers" or those that have a double combination lock on their purses... having a heart attack at the thought of paying for reading something on the Internet... :D:D:D

I rather naively assumed that some on here already took 'Practical Classics' magazine

I suppose the freeloaders could always find this mag in a newsagents and have a free read of the article I referenced (I did give the page number)

P.S. I also started a thread about an apparently better, more reliable replacement ignition capacitor (Polyester Film type), but only 'The Whitakers' seemed to notice this thread.
