You sure it's not the door seal rubber? I had issue with mine, the door rubbers were too thick, door would not shut. Changed for thinner width and all good.

Take off the rubbers and see if the door shuts ok. If it does, there's your answer.

Rob's answer and suggestion is very sensible. I have found that although some of the alternative seals (such as those from 'Woolies') whilst good in quality and look the same are not QUITE the same in thickness or compressability. If by removing the seals the problem is resolved, get proper Fiat seals from one of the better suppliers----FD Ricambi, Axel Gerstle, Ricambio or Motorbambino. The last 2 names are both UK suppliers.
