Hello ,
I have an old but unused Dellorto FZD 30-24 and I want to mount it on my stock 1970 Fiat 500L (499cc engine) , so , i want to buy the jets I need to tune my carburetor ,, the problem is I don't know witch is the standard jetting for my carburetor-engine situation . Do you know where I have to look to make an idea what to buy ?
In Bucharest - Romania where I live I am not having access to a dyno or carb tuner , this is why I ask you for help.
Thanks
Barbu

Being that the 30/24 FZD was not fitted as a factory 'fit', or listed as an option, there is very little information regarding the jetting for for this carb on a standard 500 engine. However, I do have the jetting that works in a 30/24 when fitted onto a 595 engine. I will dig these out and let you have them. Most of the jets and service items that you will require for the carb are still obtainable--from the UK a company called "Eurocarb". They have a good selection of parts that can be purchased 'on-line'. You might be able to source parts from Italy, but you would have to do a bit of 'on-line' searching to find those suppliers. It is a very good carb, fairly easy to set up, stays in tune and, in my personal opinion, a much better carb to fit on the 500/126 engines for road use than a twin-choke,side-draught carb (Weber, Solex or Dellorto). Do you have a parts drawing and list? If you do not, contact me direct with your address and I will put copies into the post for you. I have a 32/28 on my tuned '650' and am delighted by it.

Thank you for the quick answers...
hobbler - I have a exploded view drawing of the dellorto fzd , I have already visited the eurocarb site .
If you can find the jetting for the 595 engine I will be more than happy to have it.
chris - Your thread is excellent ! It has all the information that interests me.
