I’d like to wish all forum buddies Season’s Greetings and hope that there is festive cheer and good health for all. Let’s give special thoughts to those who, for many reasons, can’t spend this Christmas with those who are dear to them.

So the toast is: MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR & TO ABSENT FRIENDS!

Let us all hope there are many miles of happy, fun and safe motoring in our 500s through 2018. (y)(y)

Well I thought.. I would say seasons greetings too..
Even from Istanbul.. I do get around a bit..
Seeking out fiat 500 N's is a hard job....

I'd like to fast forward past Christmas and share my enthusiasm for a Fabulous Fiat New Year when I hope more of you reading this will have more opportunity to spend more time with your Fiat 500....preferably external to the garage and at a speed of at least 50mph and not on a trailer.:D

I shall hopefully be spending time on the road in a 500 and playing around with a 500 in the garage. That's if I'm not playing Backgammon or making Backgammon boards :D

Have a great Christmas everyone!

Will you be using the "Hours Running time" or "mileage" system?

May I reiterate all that you say young master Emery---merry Christmas to one and all, and a peaceful 2018 with many miles being covered in the 500s. Sadly, young Mr Burrell, as I will be doing all the driving I will note be able to join you in a drink (strict 12hr bottle-to-throttle rule)--but I will be thinking of that glass in your hand.(y):)

Very good rule, Tom. (y) My glass is non-alcoholic through meds but still a raised glass all the same. (y)

Young master: I like that :D but alas not been young for many years now!

Seasons greetings to you all, brief moment of Internet access here in NZ :)

"So I think it's time to share the part of the Nativity long forgotten.
The story of Greg and Ian.

Celebrating the birth of the baby Jesus Greg and Ian had way too much to drink. One suggested it be great if they reset the clock back to year zero to mark the arrival of their Lord and Savior? The other said...

"That's a brilliant idea we can say years up to now are BC Before Christ and the ones from now are AD Anno Domini to keep the Romans in check".

...by the morning they remembered the idea but couldn't remember who came up with it so it became the Greg or Ian calendar.

And that's how the Gregorian calendar came to be.

(Of course it's a complete fiction. No idea who made up the rest of the Nativity story)".

Happy New Year to all the Greg or Ian's out there. :D
