Anyone got advice on how to fit the line through pictured? (the old line ran there). Or did you just go around it? If I unscrew the two nuts (one of which is pictured), will that allow me to open up room to fit it there? I thought the fronts would be a cinch. Oh well!

You've maybe done it now, but I recommend removing the top-link arm pivot bar, or slackening at least. Don't lose any shims behind it and use gallons of penetrating oil. If you are making your own pipe you might get away with threading through and shaping the pipe and then trimming to length and fitting the nut/forming the nipple afterwards. You could do this without slackening the pivot.
