The right hand of the 3 switches on the 'dash-board' will turn the instrument cluster lights, but only when you have a minimum of side-lights on (middle switch). (y):)

Sorry, forgot to mention---far left (red) light is 'low fuel', next light across (red) is ignition, 3rd light across (green) is normal lights (side lights/low beam) and far right light (blue) is 'high beam'. Finally, red light on far right side of instrument cluster is 'low oil pressure'. If the engine is hot, this light, if you have a standard sump fitted, may flicker when the engine is idling---this is OK as long as the light goes out as soon as you 'blip' the throttle. When the lights are on 'side-lights only' you can 'flash' the headlamps by pulling the larger of the 2 column stalks towards you. The smaller of the 2 stalks is for indicators. (y):)
