Hello!

Well, Erna wont start. She began making egnition trouble in the beginig of this week, so i thoug that i should do the preparing for winter.
That involves sprying the egnitionwire whit, well dont know the name of it.
Now she dosent start at all or, when i finely got her started she sounded if she whas of the egnition point and i havent touth enything. Only the cabs to the sparks, just to give theme a bit of contact spray.
Tok one of the sparks out to check if i had overflown the engine, no.
Put on a new gasolin filter, yes.
She is fittet whit a newer spark distrubitor. Ask for picture.
So do enyone have a solution to this problem.

If it helps, my unsolvable won't start issue came down to the oil dipstick touching the coil and shorting out the circuit. Worth a look!

So many things it could be, but if your HT leads are old you could start by replacing them.

Another simple one is if you flipped the distributor cap when changing the leads?

The solution was very simpel & desturbin. As the last to think of, was the gasoline pump. So i dismantle it and found a pice of (in danish lommeuld) muth. I though that isent it, but it was aperently. So littel to do so much dammage.

On reflection, it's qute surprising that moths aren't the cause of more problems with Fiat 500's...quite a few of them seem to spend a lot of time "mothballed".

Well, it wasent the moth. She started up and run perfect yesterday, but when i started her today, she made the same issiue. So last thing to do is to rinse the caburattor. I suspect that there is where the bug is. Damn! It would have been great if it had turned out to be a moth.

It wasent even the caburattor. No, a fuse that oxidized. But my troubles wasent over. She blow a sparkplug. Had that fixed. Now she runs again.
