General Paint codes

Done a bit of a search but is there an official list of paint codes and names anywhere?

Any idea how one uses the codes - ie is the code FIAT413 or "Azzurro Pervinca" in the case of mine?

I honestly couldnt tell you. I'm guessing if you took it to a car paint specialist they'll be able to make up the paint using both reference points.

Fiat and 413 will get you the right colour.

This site takes a little more effort because it is a bit cumbersome, but once you get the hang of it you can get some info.

I did a search on 1972 Fiats and on page two of those charts I can actually find 413 Azzurro Pervinca.

Searching on 1969 Fiats, page one shows 413 as Periwinkle Blue.

I am sure searching other years will give the same and different results.

That throws a spanner in the works. The paint charts appear to be conflicting as 413 doesn't appear in the 63 fiats on your site but a couple of quite similar colours do.
