I also installed an electric fuel pump. I didn't bother to remove the old one, just bypassed it. I had it fitted under the bonnet on the left side of the car, right beside the engine for the windshield wiper. It is kind of loud though.. Do you typically do anything about that?

It's normal to mount them on rubber isolators or "bobbins" rubber bobbin.jpg

Search rubber bobbin on ebay. If the pump only has two bolts it may move about too much, in this case bolt the pump to a triangular metal plate and use 3 bobbins to mount the plate to the car.

Hi Graabein;
Look on the web-site:---'Car Builder Solutions' They do a catalogue, which though primarily for kit-car builders has an enormous amount of useful gear in it--everything from 'mounting bobbins' to sheet metal to light units etc. It is an extremely useful piece of kit to have in the drawer. I don't know if they will post a catalogue to you in Norway (the catalogue is free of postage to a UK address), but if they will post one to you--catalogue 30 is the latest, grab one. If they won't post you a catalogue, let me know and I will post catalogue 29 to you.

Thanks guys! :D

Those look perfect, but where do you mount the pump? I rather not make any more holes.
