Hi All i have replied to an advert here in South Spain for a Fiat 500 nuovo 1964.the "owner/seller tells me the car is situated in Czechoslovakia but the photos he has sent me clearly shows the car in the UK.does anybody know of a stolen car.

That may be true Dave i have asked for copies of the docs.he says it's on Czech plates.i have a czech mate(no t chess) who would check them out. the car seems ridicously cheap. 2000€
 
so now i've had a further email from the seller saying the car is deposited with a transport company in Czechoslovakia and once i've signed the sale agreement and then deposited 50% of the value in the Co account they will deliver the car to me for a paultry sum of 300€ i work in transport and this is cheap the same as the car.

The "owner/seller" doesn't seem to know what country he or the car is in. Czechoslovakia hasn't existed since 1993. ;)

Oh dear.... I smell a scam.... :eek:
 
so i've sent the guy an email saying before any money transfers i'd like to see the car .i'm in Berlin next week on work related business and will be able to visit the car if he sends me the address of where it is.........surprisingly his emails have stopped :cry:
