Fiat Manual and Safe Motoring Hints

Some time ago I promised to post copies of the Fiat 500F/L users manual and a little book that came with all Fiats in the 1960s called Safe Motoring Hints.

I have already posted a pdf of the manual in a reply to one of the recent threads but thought that I probably should post pdfs of both books under a new thread so others on the list can find them easily if they want them.

So here they are - 16Mb and 10Mb respectively, scanned at 300dpi.

Chris

(Edit by Ben)
So as not to get them lost, I've moved them into the 500 Classic downloads area

Re: Fiat Manual and Safe Motoring Hints

I've added the manual for the 500D as well as a single page on the specifications for the 500D Sport model.

Somewhere at home I've got a manual for the Giardiniera which I'll scan and post as well.

Re: Fiat Manual and Safe Motoring Hints

It has been kindly pointed out by one of the forum members that the manual that I posted for the 500D is actually for the 500N (479cc engine) with a supplement for the larger capacity 499.5cc Sport (also an N) and presumably also covers the early model D's. It was published in 1960 right about the time of the changeover from N to D.
Apologies for any confusion,
Chris

Fiat 500 Giardiniera Owners Manual

Giardiniera owners manual (1964) is attached.

If there is sufficient interest and I can find it, I'll scan the owners manual for the Topolino. I think the one I have is for the A/B series cars.

Re: Fiat Manual and Safe Motoring Hints

Finally got around to scanning the Topolino instruction manual.

Been away on holidays and very busy at work, hence the delay ...

If I ever come across any other relevant manuals, I'll scan and post them (copyright notwithstanding).

Re: Fiat Manual and Safe Motoring Hints

Hello Everyone. Thank you for posting these manuals.

I have a 1971 500L with a rectangular instrument cluster - speedo and indicator lights etc. (not the round one). One of the instruction manuals has an appendix for the L (Luxury), however, Page 48 is blank. I am guessing that is the one with a detailed description of the instrument cluster? I would like to know what all the lights indicate?

I would appreciate any help.

Re: Fiat Manual and Safe Motoring Hints

Hope the attached helps.

I see that you live in the US and the photo is from a LHD 500L instrument cluster, so the positions of the warning lamps should be accurate.

Re: Fiat Manual and Safe Motoring Hints

My 500L supplement has the above instrument cluster schematic on page 47. Page 48 has the fuse ratings so I've included it too.

All of the fuses (in all of the Nuova 500 series) are 8 amp.
