Have you seen the Fiat Special Tool for loosening/tightening the above hose clamps - it's like a short and a long section of tube welded together into a T shape, the tube ends being flattened to fit the part of the hose clamp that is turned. The short side has a bend, this allows the tool to be used in different positions/locations.
Many people resort to pliers/small screwdrivers/90 degree picks etc, but the correct tool makes it easier.
I trust you'll be doing something about the ends of the steel bands that are protuding - these can inflict a nasty cut. You'll probably have your own ideas but I used to slip a pin or small screwdriver under the steel band next to the adjuster, press down on the free end and pull out the pin/screwdriver, leaving the band following the curve of the hose clamp with none of it sticking out.
