Hi Sean

Indeed so, I am not as tall as that guy but wider I think, I can at least drive with the roof closed. It matters not, the fun of just being in the car and driving with a smile on my face is all that counts. Unfortuntely, I am currently experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms at the moment as I have been navigating around the Arctic ocean since the end of July on a survey ship and missing my car, but thinking up new things to fit, or improve and monitoring the valuable information on the Fiat Forum and of course the chat etc. I should be back behind the wheel early September, preparing for the Hinckley Classic Car show on the 21st where my Fiat will probably be the only one in attendance, out of at least 450 cars and therefore, at least best in show, (in my opinion).

Cheers

Good find Sean. As always I am looking out for mistakes on rebuilds!!!!!!

Make sure you don't leave that massive gap between the rear seats when you fit the seat covers, like I did at first!!!!!! :D Fortunately I managed to fix it second time around.

I wish it was this quick!!!!:D

I think that actually was quite a quick restoration compared to some of us.:eek:

Anyone with life to waste could find better ways to do that than by listening to my inane ramblings and watching as I speed through the Highlands. I did about 200 miles last Friday and 240 the day before.

Hi Vitesse (Tony?)
I'm just at the stage of fitting the rear seats and have that gap. Also I note that my seat doesn't fold right down. I've had it suggested that I could make a vinyl covered foam sausage to slot into the gap and I do have the flap attached to the spikes.
How did you fix it – I remember seeing a picture you posted explaining this.
