Yes Andrew, the box is (as far as the 5-speed conversion is concerned) all built up. Came by way of a chance conversation with a little Italian guy I was introduced to. My friend in Italy took me out to show me the area after we had finished making the promotional video for the 'Senagallia Pit-Stop' sponsors. The guy was working on his (very quick) 500 as we drove past, so we stopped and had a chat with him---result? He collected us next morning and took us to a local Raduno (nice lunch in a large sea-food restaurant), and commented during the drive that what I needed was a '5-speed box' for my car. He then proceeded to sort it all out---sourced the kit, had the machining done and the 5th gear parts fitted. All I had to find was a bell housing, and a Crown-wheel with support bearing assemblies, which I have done. Although I didn't need the box 'right now', the price would have been stupid to turn down.

I've fitted the five speed gate as its advised to prevent accidents
Fifth and reverse are silly close within the box and a fluffed gear selection would be the end

Does anyone know the correct fuel pressure for a 32-28?
I need to set it on the fuel pressure regulator

I would go no higher than 0.2 bar (3psi). I run my 32/28 from a standard 126 mechanical pump and have suffered no problem with fuel supply/over supply. The standard 126 pump supplies 5.5 (imperial---6.6US) gallons per hour.

Hello guys,
Apologies for digging up a rather old post!

I've recently got my self a FZD 32/28 that was previously working on a 600cc engine and just installed it on my 126 650cc engine.
The issue I'm currently having is running.
The engine starts and will only run with the help of easy start. A little spray down the carb, it starts for 10 seconds and then cuts out.
Timing was set recently and is all fine, I'm getting fuel into the carb (float is set at 5mm), leads have been changed and I'm getting spark.
My only conclusion is the jets are the incorrect size and too small to supply the engine with enough fuel to run. Can anyone sort of confirm that this would be an issue before I spend £80 on jets!
Thanks,
Alex.

Hi Alex;
The fact that your FZD was initially jetted for a 600cc engine should not stop it working pretty well on your 652cc engine---the jets will be only 1 or 2 sizes different. The fact that your engine will only run with the assistance of 'easy-start' would indicate to me that you have a blockage in your 'low-speed' jet, or its passage-way. The low-speed (or 'starter jet' as Dellorto call it) is located under the SMALL cover on the top of the carb---the cover secured by 2 screws. If you would like to contact me direct ( [email protected] ) with your address,I will send you a copy of the bumph that I have on these carbs and the settings that I have. My engine is running really well with the settings that I have. It is very easy to OVER jet these carbs, as I have found. My suggestion would be to remove the carb, and clean it out thoroughly, check the jets and replace as required.
