Hi all just want to know if the 500 headlamp chrome bazels are embedded into the front panel or should they be completely visible on the outside?

I have 2 500L headlamps and bazels as it was hard to find the Nouva or D headlamps, does anyone know if the Nouva or the D head lamp bazels are bigger and more roundish like the VW beetle?

the chrome bezel, whould be embedded into the front panel, but not entirely. there are a few spring that stop the bezel from moving or falling out. many people place the rubber waterproofing around the bezel on the outside of the panel, but others, like myself just stuff it down into the front panel so that it isnt visble to the eye.

As far as I can see the bezels for the D are the same size and shape as the L and F

Hi coming back to this subject the headlamp bazels which I have seem to have a rubber waterproofing seal at the back, could it be possible they are not supposed to be embedded into the face?
