Check Out this rare rare rare car that i found! its a 69 Fiat 500 Steyr Puch. these cars are just as rare as original fiat 500 abarths. Not Replicas. Steyr Puch, was a company at that time i believe in Germany, that would customize Fiat 500's! These are about that same as original abarths, if not more.

Steyr Puch didn`t customise 500`s they had the rights to manufacture them, but being a manufacturer ( Austrian) amongst other things in their own right chose to use their own engine. They are a military vehicle and equiptment manufacturer, who at the time they were making 500`s also made mopeds (Puch).
The Fiat Panda 4wd and Alfa Romeo 33 Series 1 4wd wagons used a Steyr Puch system under licence.
The New Zealand Army and other Armies use the Steyr semi auto rifles currently, plus run their troop transport vehicles.
The Steyr 500`s I think from memory ran a flat engine compared to the inline Fiat unit didn`t they?
Interesting wee car though but I wouldn`t think that rare in mainland Europe, is it?

I know that this site was posted some time ago, but I believe that the engine that was put into the Steyer Puch 650 was in fact a Fiat development engine (why they never used it gawd only knows, the boxer engine was a much better engine)--the car was a bit of a giant killer; in (I think) the late '60s a works S-P won the European rally championship--look after your car, it is rare

They were built under lisence using 500 bodies but steyrs own flat twin and gearbox. Being a flat twin they were better balanced and therefore easier to tune. They still race them in Austria. Not sure of the value of the ordinary 500cc versions that were rated at 21 bhp to my knowledge, but sporty 650

TRs are very valuable. Check out
this guys channels, based in the
states, absolutely fascinating;
big bore kits even up to almost
1 litre. Sky high prices too!
