Well, things seem to have gone a little quiet round here again!

As I have said before, I reckon that most of our cars only come out when the weather is half decent, so nobody has got much to talk about!

Sooooooo, I was thinking, when the weather does get a bit more amenable, how about a get together?

Other sections seem to do it quite successfully so why not us?

How does everyone feel about this?

Ideas for dates, venues etc?

It seems best to sort stuff out like this well in advance, so come on people, what about it?

Count me in !!!!! 500 convoy !!! Would new 500's be invited too, might increase chances of anyone actually showing up

Unfortunately my location makes any meet south of the border quite troublesome, the idea intrigues me but I'd need an idea of location/date before I could give a firm answer

Point taken Eklipze...... it would be a heck of a drive for you unless we decide on Inverness for the venue

Given that the distance we can travel comfortably in our cars is limited, we would need a venue that would be central for the majority.

Well, depending on where everyone else is located and how easy it is to get there basically anything north of Manchester is doable for me, just sucks being all the way up here sometimes lol

Takes me 3.5hrs just to get to Glasgow ffs, and that's in the Sei which is capable to exceeding the posted speed limits when required ... not that I would ever do that on a public road

The current suggestion is for Billing Aquadrome (http://www.billingaquadrome.com/index.aspx) - NN3 9DA for those with one of them fancy machines

What does everyone else think? It's a long drive for me but seems pretty central for everyone else

Sounds like a top idea, billing is a great venue !! As long as we dont get accused of being engine knickers

I've had one reply to the idea of new 500's joining us, and they seem happy enough as they will all be jealous of our proper cars Will wait to see how the response goes and hopefully get an event thread up with a date etc in the next week or so
