Hi I am thinking of giving my 500 Nouva a new paint job and was wondering if I should stick to the original Colour which is Medio Blue but this has been changed eventually to orange and now its red

I think the reason why the previous owner changed the colour was because this Medio blue made the car look small and dingy

Right now I have makanged to select 3 colours Yellow, Red, White which are all Fiat colours but formulated in 1994-2001

Does anyone think that by changing the colour to new formaltion would ruin the authenticity of the car even though they are Fiat color codes and solid colours?

Any advise between the 3 colours I am looking at would be appreciated and note that my personal favourite would be yellow as it would make the car look fun

I also wanted to go with the original Medio blue but after looking at the swatch, it would make the car look bad

:bang:

Depends what you really want, if you want your car to hold as much value as possible then youll have to paint it in its original colour of blue. But if you dont care about that then paint it any colour you wish, I assume you mean broom yellow? If so, Ive seen 500s in that colour and they look fab:)
One thing, youll need to get all that old paint off first, otherwise the finish wont be great... thats a lot of coats of old paint your 500 has!

Thanks, I intend to give it a full scratching before the new paid job is done, yes its a broom yellow bt not too bright also:)

Sorry guys, I finally went with Bianco white which is an original Fiat white, did not go ahead with yellow as yellow was available on the 500 only in 1972 so as I could not find the colour formula of the original Medio blue which was on the car, I thought its safe to go with White as it makes the car look more antique and the N model did come in white as well. :D
