My Wife has decided to sell her little used 500 Abarth and put some of the money in to a classic Fiat 500.

We paid a deposit on this one yesterday, needs a little TLC but overall it is in great shape for its age!









It has the usual corrosion at the bottoms of the wheel arches and doors but the floor and sills are pretty solid.

It's MOT'd until Feb and has had one titled Lady owner since new.

Not sure if we'll keep the ribbon (it's vinyl), there is a bit of a story behind it but I think we both prefer it plain.

My 1960 Fiat 500N, alltough it looks like a D it is the last production year of the N, with flat floor in the rear and no real rear seats. But due to the new italian highway codes that came in 1959 it had to get a facelift the last production year! The D was also introduced in 1960, but has room for rear seat passengers feat etc... My car has a 600cc engine from 500R / 126A. And synchronized gearbox from same cars!

thats my mates VW,im building an identical on but in grey and is LHD,The 600 has loads of Abarth bits on it now after its full resto i did myself,just needs the beefy engine now

only person I know who knows how to spell anast, anestet, anstet, anshtetic, antiseptic, oh bugger it, the knock out drug thingy.............
