Hi all, I have a 1981 127 1050 Super that is running really poor. It starts fine but won't tick over. It has the weber 32ICEV carb. I've fitted new dizzie cap, leads, plugs, stripped carb down, cleaned and fitted new o rings, seals etc from a repair kit. It has the auto choke but will not idle on it's own. It pops a bit out the exhaust which tells me that it could possibly be that the carb needs setting up. I've uploaded a vid to YouTube of it running. Has anyone got a pdf of said carb I could view, my Haynes manual doesn't cover the 32ICEV. Thanks.

Carb DIRT

And Timing of sparks were a constant battle

I would most likely focus on the idle jet, its normally a solid brass slotted screw head. if you remove it from the carb then pull the jet out of the holder and check you can see through it, if not then blow it through with an air line(or keyboard blowing dust spray stuff), reassemble and try to start car again.

check very carefully to ensure no fuel leaks are visible.
