Hi,
I have a 1970 Fiat 500 with a 126 652cc engine and Weber carburetor.
Occasionally, I get a fuel leak just below the carb. The carb mounting plate between the carb body and the manifold (has raised edges along the outside) becomes full of fuel. (Picture of carb attached).
I checked the fuel line and it's tight and not leaking.
Any ideas where the fuel is leaking from?
It only happens very rarely.
Any ideas?

hi Pierre

I would check the float height setting and check the float valve is closing fully as my first priority.

ie if the carb is over filling its got to go somewhere.
