Hey what’s up guys/gals I’m in the middle of taking off my alternator but can’t seem to get it off, I’ve taken all the nuts and bolts off of it but it doesn’t want to come off, is there a step I’m missing or have overlooked? I’ve checked online but couldn’t seem to find anything. Any help is much appreciated!

I'm in the middle of it as well for a 2013 Fiat 500 1.4L. I can't get to the top bolt. Can anyone tell me what size it is, and any helpful tricks. Can't find a thing online.

126 aircooled?
Remove 2 bolts attached to air cowling.
Remove 4 bolts attached to engine block.
Remove the fan bolt from the rear.

Then there are 2 hidden dowel pins between the block and the alternator that stop it sliding forward. You will have to prize and twist the alternator to bump it over the dowel pins.

Do you have any pictures of it?
