Hello to the group,

I just bought this 126 on BAT for my wife to use as a fun runabout. Should be shipped from Sicily to our home in Chesapeake, VA, over the next few weeks.

Thought that I would join the group... I'm likely going to need the help in troubleshooting and sourcing parts at some point in the future. I've been collecting Corvettes the past few years and finally got the wife a "cute little car" that she wanted.

I should add that we lived in Italy for the past couple of years (in the Naples area) and she was sad that we didn't bring a little FIAT back with us when we returned.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the welcome. The car is a '77 that has recently received a cosmetic refresh. My wife was initially interested in an older 500 but there are gobs of them for sale and the price on this car seemed good, so we went with the 126 and happy with the decision so far. Any common issues that I should be aware of or any recommendations for trusted parts sources?
