Hey Guys,
Anyone no what size the pistons are in standard 126 callipers.

Cheers

126's were all drum braked as standard. The various disc brake setup's you see have either been manufactured from scratch or utilise calipers and discs from various other makes of car.
Cheers

hi Rizzo'
I am using 'Cinquecento' callipers on my conversion. You can get overhaul kits for these callipers from a company called 'BIGGRED'. I have dealt with this company--got first-class service. They do overhaul kits and parts for a very large range of callipers. Spend a couple of minutes perusing their web-site---I would be surprised if they didn't have a kit/parts that covered what you need.

Am I mistaken in thinking that the 704cc watercooled 126BIS had front discs?
Something rings a bell about that.

And what happened ? I would have thought the cars too light in the front for disk brakes ? Surely the front would just lock up with power assisted disks ???
