I can't thank you enough for posting a vid for me on youtube. That's awesome stuff there. Please let me know if you need any info.

I found a few sites in Polish and I was able to post one for free and I made sure to mention it's Polish nickname, Maluch, in hopes that might mean something to somebody. Bringatrailer is awesome and I can't believe how many cars on there I want! I'll probably put my Maluch on there too.

Maluch on ebay was sold for 6100 and it was not as good as yours. Probably body was excellent and it was in good mechanical shape, it was own by body shop, however it wasn't original car, it was made from several other cars, body parts and engine parts and interior parts don't match.

The whole auction was strange too, only one bidder was bidding raising his own price (I think it was seller himself) only to loose to somebody else just before auction ended. I don't know how ebay works, but it worked for him.

Good luck with your car, let us know how it went.

Very interested in buying the Fiat 126 "bobthekatt7". I will send you a pm and would like to contact you. I'm in Chicago.

Wait, is it sold?

I think I saw your car "hibob" in a polish article. Wanted to get in contact with you how to import one.

Give me a week or so. I'm in Poland now and I don't have much time.

hibob loved the videos on youtube, I am in the process of bringing bothekatt7's maluch to Chicago. Driving out there with a trailer tomorrow. I still wanted to get an idea what the shipping company was that you used Poland to Germany and Germany to US. I would pick it up myself in SC.

I think it was a very good buy. I recently came back from Poland and I saw many 126es on the streets, but they are rusty and tired. Hard to find good one and they are quite expensive too.

I think that one in Florida, sold by bothekatt7, is an excellent car for a very reasonable price.

Car from Poland to Germany was shipped by Adam Florczak, [email protected] He is an independent broker and he was able to ship it from Krakow to Bremerhaven for 600 zlotych (about 200 US$). From there to Charleston it was Trans Global Auto Logistics, www.tgal.us - and they did it for about $1500, if I remember correctly.

Right now is one offered for sale on ebay, however it isn't cheap. ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fiat-Other-...a9b302bc2&item=251711728578&pt=US_Cars_Trucks ) Fixer-uppers are in Europe, especially in Poland. However even there prices go up quickly. Still it is possible to find many of them for peanuts.

1US$ is now 3.4 zł, so car for 1700 zł costs 500 dollars, plus repairs, shipping etc.

Go to Poland, it is beautiful country, see Krakow, Warsaw, Gdansk, Tatra Mountains, Salt Mine in Wieliczka, buy a Fiat - you will have vacation of your life. ;-)
