hello, having trouble with a 1978 spider 1800. installed rebuilt carb.{32 ADFA},changed sparkplugs,did oil change. fired up engine, idle was very rough and after about 40 sec. engine cut off. does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? thanks

What was it running like before? have you done a compression test? is firing order ok and rebuild?

It sounds like I am having the exact same problem as you describe above. Did you ever figure it out? If so please let me know!
