My 124 came with 90% of emissions equipment stripped. Problem is this: moving to Colorado from a no-emissions testing county in NM. Can anyone tell me if I have a chance to pass testing in Colorado?

Hi Steve,

You might try sending a PM to another member on here - Ster1, he's in Denver, Colorado, has a 124 Spider and might be able to advise you re. emissions.

Hth,

Al.

Steve, did I ever respond to you? I’m sorry if I didn’t. I just got my 124 inspected yesterday and it passed! Kind of unbelievable. They do a 2 speed test. One at idle and one at 2500 rpm. They look at carbon monoxide (CO) as a percent, and hydrocarbons (HC) in part per million (PPM). The limits on HC is 400 ppm and CO is 1.5%. At least according to my paperwork. My CO was .24 and HC was 86. I can tell you, I only idled the car, I never revved it to 2500, so somehow they must extrapolate those numbers.
